Country Labor forms the voice of regional Victoria within Victorian Labor, representing the Federal Electorate Assemblies (FEAs) of Ballarat, Bendigo, Corangamite, Gippsland, Indi, Mallee, Monash, Nicholls and Wannon.
Each year, Regional Forums are held to listen to the needs of country Victorians and promote Labor policies in rural and regional areas.
Country Labor Executive is an elected group of 20 Victorian Labor members from rural & regional Victoria. CLX originally grew out of the Rural and Regional Affairs Policy Committee, and has since played an important role in advocating for Labor policy across rural and regional Victoria.
Each year, CLX organises a Regional Forum in Eastern, Northern and Western Victoria Regions in conjunction with local Branches and sometimes Policy Committees.
